FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- How soon will I receive my photos?
-
Real estate shoots have a typical turn-around time of 24 hours from photoshoot start time. You'll receive an email with a link to download your images in both HR (High Resolution for print) and MLS (smaller photos sized to MA MLS standards) formats. Design, food and product shoots typically take longer to edit and deliver. Please refer to your contract for delivery date information.
- Do you have a cancellation policy?
-
Yes! Shoots must be cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled shoot time. Cancellations received after that time period may result in cancellation fees. Please refer to our Terms of Service for more information.
- Can I share these images with the homeowner? Stager? Builder? Architect?
-
No. All images are licensed to the listing agent for the purpose of marketing the property for sale, for as long as you have the listing. Agents may not transfer, assign or sub-license rights to use the photos to anyone without the written permission of the copyright holder, Blu Lemonade Photography LLC. See our Terms of Service for more information. Additional licensing options are available; please contact our office for more information on licensing opportunities.
- Is your drone pilot licensed and insured?

Yes! The FAA requires that all commercial drone pilots are licensed and certified under Part 107. All airspace is cleared in advance for flights and drone operations are liability insured. Please be sure to book your aerial photography in advance so that airspace clearance can be obtained.
- What is your Covid-19 policy?
-
In an effort to reduce Covid-19 exposure, we ask that homeowners vacate the home during the shoot and only the agent be present. *Please do not schedule agency walk-throughs during our shoot.* In certain circumstances (children virtual learning, etc) we can discuss options to make it work for your client while maintaining safety. Masks must be worn at all times. Photographer will be unable to assist in moving furniture or staging. Please refer to our Client Prep List for more information.
- Do you charge travel fees?

Blu Lemonade Photography's service area is primarily the South Shore - from Milton to some parts of Plymouth - along Route 3 South. Areas outside of this perimeter may be subject to a travel fee. Please inquire for further information.
Meet Kerry - Owner, Photographer
A creative person by nature, I fell in love with storytelling early on. Whether through art, film, food or photograph, to me everything has a story. When I look back over my career-path (documentary television production, graphic design, sales & marketing) "story" is the one common theme that weaves through everything. When I first picked up a camera, something just clicked and it became an obsession. I was always thinking of how to tell a story in a single photo. How to capture the essence of a family, a home, a business? And what started as my artistic outlet outside of work, slowly morphed into opening my own photography company.
I feel so lucky everyday, to be able to do what I love. I love telling your stories, sharing your skills, your products and your company story through the art of photography. Whether you're selling a luxury home or looking to highlight your business, Beth and I are committed to helping you achieve your end goals. Lifelong friends/sisters, Beth is brilliant and her management and organizational skills are the "ying" to my creative, messy-desk-owning, non-linear "yang". Beth's background in operations management is the perfect fit and I am beyond excited to have her steering the Blu brand.
I think the number one question I am asked when I first meet people is "How did you come up with your company's name?" With my family nickname being Blu, I knew I wanted to incorporate that somehow, and wanted to pair it with something memorable and upbeat. Being the eternal optimist, I always try to "turn lemons into lemonade" as the saying goes and just put the two together. It felt marketable and happy and all these years later, it still is. Thank you all for believing in this small business - it means everything!
Meet Beth - Director of Business Development
"If you love what you do you'll never have to work a day in your life."
Working with Kerry is a lifelong dream come true! She is the most talented and creative person I know and watching her turn her passion for photography into a career has been so heartwarming. Friends since early childhood, we have done everything together and joining Blu Lemonade in early 2021 was one more adventure I was thrilled to be embarking on with her.
As Director of Business Development, I bring my years of experience in management, operations and logistics to help keep things organized. For the past 15 years I have been working in the adventure travel industry, most recently as general manager of a luxury family travel operator managing a budget of $5 million annually. I love working with numbers and overseeing all the details that ensure everything works seamlessly. I'm looking forward to establishing relationships with new and future clients and helping to bring Blu Lemonade to the next level.
Together let us tell your story!
